Community Drinking Water Projects

Acer Engineers, was awarded a community drinking water project by RWS&S, AP including O&M of scheme for 7 years and distribution of water @ Rs.2 per bottle of 20 litres.

Acer Engineers devised a novel concept – Hub and Spoke model to meet the challenges. Built 16 Nos. mother plants of capacity 10000 litres per hour each, installed near to raw water sources. Processed water is transported through a large fleet of road tankers (30Nos.) to fully automated Rural Dispensing Units (RDU’s 202Nos.) installed in rural areas and at remotely located habitations. The Rural community draws clean and safe water using SMART card from the nearest RDU’s at Rs.2 per can of 20 litres. This scheme covers complete Kuppam constituency (533 villages/habitations of water scarcity) in Chittoor District

Similar scheme was implemented in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts covering Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) area under Uddanam region, A.P. 7 mother plants covering over 7 mandals and 135 villages/habitations.

Water Treatment Plants for Industries

Acer Engineers, has installed several industrial water treatment plants viz Pressure Sand Filters, Activated Carbon Filters, Dual Media Filters, Softeners, De-mineralisation Plants, De-alkalizers, Polishing Units, Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis units for varied industrial applications. Also has capability to build Turn Key Projects, Pressure Vessels, Pipe Network and Site Fabrication works in carbon steel and stainless steel.

Bibo Captiva

Bibo Captiva’ launched in 2011 is the first company in India to introduce captive water plants in large commercial and residential complexes.

Bibo Captiva is targeted at complexes with a minimum consumption capacity of 3000 liters a day serving a population of 1000 persons. This model aims to reduce costs from transportation, labour, branding & packaging and to pass-on the reduced costs to the customer, eventually less carbon emissions. In similar lines installed over 90 automated drinking water vending machines on Railway station platforms for passenger convenience at an affordable price of Rs.3 per litre.

Bibo Fontaine

Bibo Fontaine believes that India’s lack of public water fountains is resulting in the consumption of bottled water, which is not efficient in energy consumption and plastics usage. Public fountains are in-expensive for the consumer and easy to scale up.
Launching in 2022, we hope to work closely with the state and replicate the success of public-paid-toilets in India. Watch out for this space!
